This continuum of service consists of monitoring, analysis, strategic advice, advocacy and if desired, evaluation.

Monitoring

Finding out where issues sit with the government prior to making a determination of a path to follow. Proactive monitoring of events generates early and helpful identification of issues and changes in government policy.

Analysis

Using experience and results of monitoring to develop the best move-forward strategy. Includes reaching agreement on the strategy and a commitment to carry it out. Prismatic Group Inc.’s political audits are a particularly useful tool in gaining knowledge about a specific issue and typically involve elected representatives and senior civil servants.

Strategic Advice

Based on information gleaned from monitoring and analysis of an issue, the provision of advice on how to best influence policy and government direction. This advice is developed with client participation and always involves striving to find the win / win solution.

Advocacy

Direct lobbying to influence decisions by, or opinions of, stakeholders and decision-makers. May include grassroots / grasstops campaigns to motivate stakeholders to influence government policy and decision making.

Evaluation

Depending on the issue at hand, it may be desirable to do a post-issue evaluation of what arguments resonated and why. This allows for more effective movement forward, post-decision.
